Medical Director Shahriar Shahzeidi, MD – Licensed Physician
Dr. Shahzeidi has 30+ years of experience in Medicine and holds triple board certifications in Pulmonology & Pediatrics with expertise in tumescent liposuction, laser sculpture and laser liposuction. Dr. Shahzeidi is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and an avid educator and Professor for the University Of Miami School Of Medicine. He is also a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, and he’s licensed to practice medicine and surgery in the following states: Virginia, Maryland, Florida and California.
Shohreh Shirkhorshidi, MSN, FNP – Nurse Practitioner
Shohreh became a state registered nurse (SRN) in England in 1985. While in England, Shohreh worked in the cardiovascular ICU at Guy’s Hospital in London and studied Midwifery. In the United States she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from George Mason University in 1994, then her Master’s In Nursing in 1997. She is an American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) certified Nurse Practitioner. She has extensive experience as a nurse and nurse practitioner. She has worked in Medical-Surgical ICU, Trauma ICU, Interventional Radiology, and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Fairfax Hospital for nine years. She joined Kaiser in 1997 and worked in Family practice for 2 years and then urgent care for 8 years. Simultaneously she worked in Nova Medical Group, Urgent Care and Medical Spa and did all aesthetic procedures in Nova Medical Spa. She worked at Radiance Med Spa for over 1 year and performed aesthetic procedures like IPL and Thermage as well as Botox and Fillers. Shohreh is an advance injector and has trained other health care providers to do full corrections all over the face with Botox and fillers (Restylane, Perlane,Juvederm ultra and Ultra plus, collegane, and Radiesse). Shohreh currently works as Nurse Practitioner in Emergency Medicine at Mt Vernon ED and Fairfax Hospital ED. She has joined us to do the Aesthetic procedures, Botox and Fillers at Impressions. Practice Philosophy: Shohreh uses both conventional and complementary medicine to optimize the treatments for the patient in a holistic manner.
Mariam Alimi – Medispa ManagerThe home town Hokie girl with a B.A. degree is currently managing Impressions MediSpa located in Vienna, VA. Mariam does not only manage Impressions, she also does many of the treatments because she received her formal training from Alma University as well. So if you are in need of Laser Hair Removal, Fractional CO2 Resurfacing, Acne treatment, sun damage, wrinkle reduction, scar repair, weight loss, stretch mark reduction, skin tightening or Botox & Dermal Fillers then Impressions Medispa is the place to be. Melissa Judkins – Certified Laser SpecialistMelissa has bachelors degree from George Mason University and she first started working for a ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) physician. She has joined Impressions MediSpa February 2009 as a Laser Specialist. After struggling many years with hormonal acne, trying everything under the sun to get rid of it, Melissa found the answer in laser treatments. This sparked her passion for laser skin care. She is amazed at what lasers can do! She is an Advanced Certified Laser Specialist & Laser 360/Laser Facial Workshop certified. She is also certified in Lavish Lash Eyelash extensions. (The one’s all the movie stars wear!) Her other certifications include Lumenus Lightsheer Diode, Accent XL for Body Contouring and Skin Tightening, Obagi, SkinMedica, and Neocutis.
Anna-Katya DeLorenzo-BrueAnna’s grounded philosophy centers around the herbalist/nutritionists role as a member of the integrative health care team where she serves her clients in good nutritional, herbal and exersize choices alongside conventional medical treatment. She works to help empower individuals to master their health through dynamic foods, Plant Medicine and Nutritional Supplement Therapy.She is a Certified Herbalist and a 2004 graduate of the Sage Mountain School for Herbal & Nutritional Studies. She is also an Certified Advanced Flower Essence Practitioner and a 2009 graduate of Delta Gardens Center for Flower Essence Research in Hampton Falls, NH. She has had the honor to work with such Herbal Luminaries as Rosemary Gladstar, David Dalton and Stephen Harrod Buhner & Kate Gilday of Woodland Essence. She is delighted to join the Impressions Medispa team. She is a graduate of New York University-Tisch School of the Arts.
